Sandra is only in Class 2, but she is already learning her fourth language.
French is one of the special subjects offered at Akiba School. As one of her assignments, Sandra worked with her teacher to prepare a special poem to present in the Kenya Music Festivals. After winning in the very competitive Nairobi district and regional competitions, Sandra is headed for the National Music Festivals. She joins over 20 students from Akiba who will present poems, dramas, and more before a panel of judges and teachers in Kakamega. If they win, the Akiba students will be invited to present before the President of Kenya at State House.
